Responsible for the
provisioning, testing and turn up’s of
broadband circuits. Responsible for a nationwide network with transport on
the eastern half of the United States with circuits nationwide. Knowledge
of various type of transport equipment and DTE equipment. Worked with all
of the Earthlink equipment including the following: Nortel OC48/OC192/DX,
Lucent DMX, INFINERA, Cerent 15454, HUAWEI, and Transmode as well as other
equipment. I have worked in multiple DACS/MUX equipment including the
Lucent DMX equipment that Earthlink uses nationwide. Some of these are DACS
equipment is: T-DAX, Tellabs Titan 5500, and Alcatel 1631 among others.
Computer literate and proficient in Sharepoint, Outlook, MS Word and Excel
etc. I have worked with various databases including: Metasolve M6, TBS,
WAVE and Netcracker etc.

I have worked on the design, testing and turn up of most of
the Broadband circuits over the last 15 years. Have helped establish and
launch new technologies and equipment. I have directly been over the
Broadband Group for the last 3 years. We work on all levels of circuit’s from T1’s, DS3’s, OCN level: OC3, OC12,
OC48 and OC192 DWDM circuits. I have extensive knowledge of the INFINERA
and able to provision, test and turn up Ethernet to 100GWL circuits. Know
how to do testing on all of these previous bandwidths. I am very proficient
with the CRT system as I helped to put the specifications that are in place
today. I know how to use the Remedy ticketing system that is currently
being used.

Performed cross connects on T1’s, DS3’s
and interconnected optical facilities on Nortel and Lucent SONET equipment,
that provides for a nationwide fiber optic network. Worked in a central
office responsible for over 3.6 Million calls daily utilizing a TBERT
224/310 and Digital Lightwave Analyzer. Interpret, acknowledge and take
appropriate actions on alarm events to include clearing, generating trouble
tickets, notifying customers, technicians, NOC generated required reports
and storing data. Worked with multiple providers and LECS to test and turn
up circuits. Performed weekly preventative maintenance checks on generator
and UPS battery system.

for a telecommunication facility that supported the Commander and Chief
over the Pacific Responsible for circuits and trunks with speeds ranging
from 75 baud to OC48’s. Maintained signals and
reception path’s; maintained signal
quality and determined point of deteriation through the use of various test
equipment. Generated trouble tickets and coordinated corrective action with
multiple service providers and leaders throughout the world. Held the
position of system administrator for the Worldwide Early Detection Missile
system using UNIX based software.

I have received numerous
awards at Deltacom/Earthlink Business, including the Network Optimization
and Provisioning award. I was the Honor Graduate at my Navy communication
school in 1991. I was also Honor Graduate of the class in Tampa where I
received my Associates Degree

Leadership
|
I have been the Sr.
Supervisor of Broadband Transport for 3 years. Been responsible of
provisioning, test and turn up of the Earthlink Nationwide Network.
Previously I was the lead tech for Broadband testing and turn up. I have
achieved a Navy Achievement Medal. I was also named the sailor of the quarter
on both the U.S.S Wasp and U.S.S. Hoist. I have always been able to get
along with others and achieve results. I have been in charge of Worldwide
Missile Launch system for Hawaii. Been promoted in both Navy Ships to
Communications Supervisor.
